PaganFM! creating album to help Haiti

PORTSMOUTH — PaganFM!, a radio program and Pagan podcast, originating at WSCA-LP, 106.1 FM in Portsmouth, and Circle Sanctuary, located near Barneveld, Wis,m have embarked on a collaborative effort, with the support of musicians from around the world, to create a music album, the proceeds from which will be used to provide assistance to the recovery and rebuilding efforts in Haiti.

Pagan Podcast Index

The Pagan Podcast Index, run by friend of many Pagan Podcasters — Hedon’s Dog, is now integrated with the Proud Pagan Podcasters website. This is part of my own vision to grow the Proud Pagan Podcasters (PPP) beyond a fellowship of podcasters to being open to all those that benefit Pagan Podcasting.
The Pagan Podcast Index started in November of 2008 and is a central repository for tracking which topics were discussed on specific shows, and when they were discussed during that show. For example, if you want to learn more about Pagan Spirit Gathering, you can see what specific podcasts mention Pagan Spirit Gathering and see the timestamp you can “fast forward” to for just understanding specific perspectives about that event.
Being a member of the PPP does not obligate you to become part of the index, but it doesn’t let your show become indexed automatically either. However, it is hard to ignore the significant overlap between those participating in the PPP and those indexed by the Pagan Podcast Index. The Pagan Podcast Index is independent of the Proud Pagan Podcasters. This has been placed on the homepage of the PPP to allow those new to Pagan Podcasts to swiftly discover shows that discuss topics they may be interested in.
